Social media guidelines

Policies · Students & Scholars · Updated

As a Sovrano AI evaluator, you are bound by confidentiality agreements that affect what you can and cannot share publicly. These guidelines help you navigate social media without violating your NDA or CIIAA.

LinkedIn

What you CAN do:

  • List your role as "Contractor for Sovrano AI" in your experience section.
  • Select "Contract" as the employment type.
  • Describe your work in general terms (e.g., "AI evaluation," "data quality assessment," "human feedback for machine learning models").

What you CANNOT do:

  • List the client (AI lab) as your employer.
  • Suggest or imply full-time employment with Sovrano AI or any client.
  • Share screenshots, confidential materials, or specific project details.

Other platforms (Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, etc.)

What you CAN do:

  • Share your general experience working in AI evaluation or data quality.
  • Provide high-level summaries of the type of work you do (without specifics).
  • Leave reviews on platforms like Glassdoor or Trustpilot about your experience working with Sovrano AI.

What you CANNOT do:

  • Mention client names or the specific AI labs you work with.
  • Post screenshots of tasks, the platform interface, or project materials.
  • Share prompts, model outputs, or any data you encounter during work.
  • Discuss specific project details, methodologies, or evaluation criteria.
  • Reuse or repurpose any work product created during your evaluation tasks.

The simple rule

If the information came from your work on the Sovrano AI platform — whether it's a prompt, a model output, a client name, a task screenshot, or a project detail — it is confidential and cannot be shared anywhere, in any format.

Consequences

Violating these guidelines constitutes an NDA breach. Depending on the severity, consequences range from a formal warning to immediate removal from all projects and a permanent ban from the platform. Serious breaches may also result in legal action.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mention Sovrano AI on my CV or resume?

Yes. You can list "Contractor for Sovrano AI" as work experience on your CV, with a general description of your role. Do not mention client names or specific project details.

Can I include my evaluation work in a university portfolio or thesis?

No. Project data, prompts, model outputs, and task details are confidential and cannot be included in academic work, even with anonymisation. If your university requires proof of work experience, contact hello@sovrano.ai for a general employment verification letter.

I'm doing a university presentation on AI. Can I reference my Sovrano AI experience?

You can mention that you have experience in AI evaluation work at a general level. You cannot share any specific details about tasks, prompts, model outputs, client identities, or evaluation criteria. When in doubt, keep it vague.

A journalist or researcher contacted me about my work. How should I respond?

Do not provide any information. Direct all media and research inquiries to hello@sovrano.ai. Responding to journalists — even with "no comment" followed by off-the-record details — can constitute an NDA breach.

Can I post a Glassdoor review about working at Sovrano AI?

Yes. You can share your general experience, work culture impressions, and overall satisfaction. Do not mention client names, specific projects, pay rates for specific domains, or any confidential information.

What if I accidentally shared something I shouldn't have?

Contact hello@sovrano.ai immediately. Delete the post or content right away. Self-reporting an honest mistake is treated very differently from deliberate or repeated violations.

Can I connect with other Sovrano AI evaluators on LinkedIn?

Yes. You can connect with colleagues. However, do not discuss project specifics, client details, or confidential information in messages, comments, or posts — even in private messages.

Am I allowed to say I work in AI evaluation without naming Sovrano AI?

Yes. You can talk about working in AI evaluation or the RLHF field in general terms. Just don't reveal any information that could identify a specific client, project, or dataset.
