Understanding your earnings dashboard

Payments & Deel · Students & Scholars · Updated

Your earnings dashboard gives you a detailed view of all your payments, broken down by status, type, and time period. Access it at app.sovrano.ai/earnings.

Payment statuses

  • Pending — Your work has been approved and the payment is queued for the next payout cycle. No action needed on your end.
  • In Transit — The payment has been sent via Deel and is being processed by your bank. This typically takes 2–5 business days.
  • Paid — The funds have been successfully delivered to your bank account.
  • Failed — The payment could not be processed. This usually means there is an issue with your Deel account or bank details. Check your Deel settings and contact hello@sovrano.ai if the issue persists.

Filtering your earnings

  • Filter by contract to see earnings from a specific project.
  • Filter by time period (weekly, monthly, custom date range) to review historical earnings.
  • Filter by payment type to separate hourly work, deliverable payments, referral earnings, and bonuses.

Downloading payment reports

  • Click Download Report to generate a PDF summary of your earnings for a selected period.
  • These reports are useful for tax filing and as proof of income documentation.
  • Reports include a breakdown by project, payment type, and date.

Understanding the numbers

  • Hours worked — Total tracked and approved hours for hourly contracts.
  • Deliverable payments — Earnings from completed deliverable-based tasks.
  • Referral earnings — Income earned through the referral program, shown separately.
  • Removed hours — Hours that were deducted after review (e.g., idle time, policy violations). If you disagree with a removal, respond to the notification email with your evidence.

Timezone note

All timestamps and date ranges in the earnings dashboard are displayed in CET/CEST (Central European Time). Keep this in mind when comparing with your local tracking, especially if you are in a different timezone.

Frequently asked questions

The dashboard shows fewer hours than I tracked. Why?

Hours may be removed if they did not pass quality review, were flagged for policy violations, or included idle time. Check for any notification emails about removed hours. If you believe the count is incorrect, respond to the notification with evidence.

How long does a "Pending" payment take to become "Paid"?

Pending payments are processed at the end of the calendar month. After processing, they move to "In Transit" and typically arrive within 2–5 business days. The total time from Pending to Paid depends on when in the month the work was completed.

My payout shows as "Failed." What do I do?

Log into your Deel account and verify that your bank details are correct and your identity verification is complete. Fix any issues, then contact hello@sovrano.ai with your full name, login email, and a screenshot of the failed payout. The payment will be retried in the next cycle.

Can I receive payouts more frequently than monthly?

Currently, all payouts follow a monthly cycle. More frequent payout options are not available at this time.

Are bonuses and referral earnings paid separately from regular work?

Bonuses and referral earnings are included in your regular monthly payout. They appear as separate line items in your earnings dashboard so you can track them individually, but the funds arrive together.

Can I generate an invoice from the dashboard?

The earnings dashboard provides downloadable PDF reports that serve as payment summaries. For formal invoices, Deel generates these automatically as part of the payment process. You can access them in your Deel account under payment history.

Why do the timestamps not match my local time?

The earnings dashboard uses CET/CEST (Central European Time) for all timestamps. If you are in a different timezone, there may be a discrepancy. This does not affect your actual earnings — only the displayed times.

How do I use the payment report for tax purposes?

Download the PDF report for the tax year in question. It includes a breakdown by project, payment type, and date. Consult a local tax professional for guidance on how to report contractor income in your jurisdiction.
