How the referral program works

You can earn money by referring other qualified people to Sovrano AI.

How it works

  • Find your referral link Your unique link is on any job listing page or in your dashboard.
  • Share it Send it to someone you think would be a good evaluator.
  • Earn when they do When they sign up through your link and start working, you earn too.

What you earn

  • You receive 20% of your referral's earnings — this includes hourly pay, bonuses, and one-time payments.
  • Your referral earnings are capped at 4x the hourly rate of your referral's first accepted offer. For example, if their first project pays €50/hr, your total referral earnings from that person are capped at €200.
  • For deliverable-based contracts, the cap is set explicitly per contract.
  • The cap is based on the first offer only — it doesn't change if your referral later switches to a higher-paying project.

Rules

  • Only the first referrer qualifies. If multiple people refer the same candidate, only the first referral link used counts.
  • Referral payouts are processed monthly alongside your regular earnings.
  • Identity verification may be required before referral payouts are released.
  • Work trials do not count toward referral earnings.

Frequently asked questions

How can I check the status of my referral?

Go to your dashboard and look for the Referrals section. You'll see a list of people who signed up through your link, their current status (signed up, applied, accepted, earning), and your accrued referral earnings.

Can I refer someone who already has a Sovrano AI account?

No. Referral credit is only given when someone creates a new account through your unique referral link. If they already have an account, the referral link won't apply.

How is the earnings cap calculated? Can you give an example?

The cap is 4x the hourly rate of your referral's first accepted offer. For example: if their first project pays €30/hr, your cap is €120 total. You earn 20% of their earnings until you hit that €120 cap. If they earn €600 total, you'd earn €120 (20% of €600 = €120, which equals the cap). If they earn €400, you'd earn €80 (20% of €400, which is below the cap).

Can I refer multiple people?

Yes. There is no limit on the number of people you can refer. Each referral has its own independent earnings cap based on their first offer rate.

My referral signed up but I don't see them in my dashboard. Why?

Make sure they used your unique referral link when creating their account. If they signed up through a different link or directly, the referral won't be attributed to you. Unfortunately, referral credit cannot be applied retroactively.

When do I start earning from my referral?

You start earning once your referral begins paid work on an accepted project. Signups, assessments, and interviews do not generate referral earnings. Work trials are also excluded.

Are referral earnings paid separately from my regular work pay?

No. Referral earnings are included in your regular monthly payout via Deel. They appear as a separate line item in your earnings dashboard.

What if my referral is accepted but never starts working?

You won't earn any referral income if your referral doesn't complete paid work. Referral earnings are based on actual paid work completed.
