Logging into Deel and 2FA

Your Deel account is separate from your Sovrano AI account, with its own email and login. Treat it with care — it holds your payment details and tax forms.

Set up two-factor authentication (2FA)

Deel supports 2FA via authenticator app (recommended) or SMS. Turning it on is strongly recommended — it protects your earnings.

  • Install an authenticator app Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, or any TOTP-compatible app.
  • Log into Deel and go to Settings → Security.
  • Enable 2FA Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  • Save your backup codes Deel gives you one-time recovery codes — store them somewhere safe (a password manager works well). You'll need them if you lose your phone.

If you can't log in

  • Forgot password — Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. The reset email arrives within a few minutes (check spam if not).
  • Lost 2FA device — Use one of your saved backup codes. If you don't have them, contact Deel support via the chat widget on their login page — they'll verify your identity and reset 2FA.
  • Email no longer accessible — Update your Deel login email before losing access. If you've already lost access, contact Deel support with proof of identity.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use SMS or an authenticator app for 2FA?

Authenticator app, always. SMS is vulnerable to SIM-swap attacks and may not work reliably if you're travelling. An authenticator app works offline.

I lost my phone and don't have my backup codes. What now?

Contact Deel support via the chat widget on the login page. They'll ask you to verify your identity (typically by re-uploading your ID document). Plan ahead: store backup codes in a password manager next time.

Can I use the same email for Deel and Sovrano AI?

Yes, and we recommend it. It makes account linking and invoice tracking simpler. If you change one, update the other.

I see a login from a country I don't recognise. What do I do?

Change your password immediately, then check Deel's account activity log. If you don't recognise the device, log out all sessions and contact Deel support. Then notify payroll@sovrano.ai so we can flag your account.
